Each year we hire staff for the Warsaw Caves and Selwyn Beach
Conservation Areas on a seasonal basis to work as gate persons and in parks operations.
Because the jobs are in parks and recreation, work schedules are heavily
oriented to weekends (including long weekends) when we are busiest.
Staff are generally assigned to a single location, but are expected to
be able to work shifts at either location (they are within 25 minutes of
each other) as required.
Most of the jobs begin in late June – with weekend work available before
that from mid-May onwards – and end after the Labour Day weekend. Some
weekend shifts are available through September until Thanksgiving. |
